Why do YOU need an Interior Designer? Well lets see, you just moved into your new space...can someone scream FREEDOM! But of course you didn't think of all the empty spaces you will have to fill with furniture...duh. Oh and lets not forget the basic essentials, of everyday usage. So what about an interior designer, or what I like to refer to them a "visual minded creator". An Interior Designer, "is someone who plans, researches, coordinates, and manages such enhancement projects."

These are all valid and logical questions. Every new "homeowner" should ask themselves when buying or renting a new home. This article is compose of valid reasons why you should consider hiring a local or well known interior designer to design your new home.

Is it more expensive to hire an Interior Designer to décor your new home? This is where you input the special word "budget", budgeting is key to any successful and healthy financial lifestyle. (You might want to read that line slowly again)

Considering the option of an interior designer already confirms you have a vision and ideas for the ideal space for you. Creativity is encouraged and sharing those ideas with a designer along with putting numbers with dreams is the concept of hiring a designer.

Remember Interior Designing is more than decorating and organizing a space, it takes planning, researching, and passion to produce excellent work. So once you have decided I can afford an interior designer for the projects I need performed or the spaces I need to recreate then your on your way. Do not become overwhelm and confused with every detail, leave it to the designers. That's what you paid them for.


Lets talk DYI projects, now that we established that interior designers are not going to break the bank as long as you have a budget, we can now move on to the most well known approach. DYI's (Do It Yourself) projects are frugal, empowering, and accomplishing with the right approach. Not only can you save yourself some money, you will feel like you can design and put together almost anything. DYI projects have become so well known especially for rental spaces and homeowners because the amount you spend on materials and tools, will differentiate the amount you would spend to hire on of those trendy handy-man companies. Hey I'm all for local businesses but I'm not paying $65 to screw in an floating shelves. My recommendation is to educate yourself, YouTube and DYI books are such great tools to learn how to achieve your projects the right way and you'll thank yourself later.

Now that we have discussed the basic truths of considering to hire an Interior Designer the next step is locating a well worth designer that can turn your ideas into reality. Keep realistic in mind along with budget but also remember "go big or go home". It's time to get creative and enjoy that new space called home.
